Historical music inventories belong the fundamental sources for music historical research. They differ from catalogues in that they are usually documents of an official nature produced from inventorying. Their informational value can be greater than giving valuable data about the compositions listed since they provide a snapshot of the music collection at a specific time and place. This survey aims to collect basic information on music inventories relevant to the music of the Bohemian lands. The list focuses on the inventories of compositions and provides information on inventories with musical incipits.
